Bill McKibben Leads March to Boston Common on Behalf of The Leadership Campaign

Who: Bill McKibben, leading environmentalist, founder of 350.org and The International Day of Climate Action on October 24th as well as community members, participants in the Massachusetts Climate Action Network (MCAN) conference, and participants of The Leadership Campaign.
What: A march will be led by Bill McKibben immediatly following the M-CAN conference at MIT to the Boston Common to rally for 100% clean electricity in 10 years and support the bill and initiative of the students of The Leadership Campaign. Bill McKibben will also be sleeping out with the Leadership Campaign on their 4th consecutive sleep-out at the Common. For the last two weeks, Boston police officers issued citations to members and they are expecting the police officers to be back this Sunday as well.
When & Where: The March for the Climate will commence at 5:30PM at the MIT Stata Center on 32 Vassar Street in Cambridge and will march to the Common. The rally will be in the Common across from the Statehouse, where the tents will be up.
